IDK i just dont get it...I listen to/produce/mix dubstep, house, grime, d&b, jungle, half-step garage etc. literally al the time. Always have my headphones on when Im home my decks are spinning and my speaker are bumping..im very open minded about the sound and love to support anything in the meager US movement but this shit seriously SUCKS. His drops make no sense, they just leave me feeling like he fucked it up and dropped at the wrong time. I listen to it just waiting for it to get better but It just doesn't. His samples are just like low budget horror film effects and most of the time its just like waaaaaaaaaaah wawaaaaaaah wawawawahhhhhhh.I gotta move to the UK

I didn't mean to get people's hopes up for Skream, I think it will be a different show in Denver,Skream posted on fb that it will be some time in march, so I guess it could be with Excision, but I don't see that happening, because I don't think Skream thinks too highly of the newer style of dubstep. Stagga is also a different night. I was just talking about all the upcoming dubstep I am stoked for. Excision is the least exciting out of the three I would say.

That's the point. Do you not get it? He makes the drops and then cuts off either the front or second half of it, or some variation of this, in order to achieve the wobbly sound effects that he has t hat are so different from everyone else.

haha ive rolled 3 times, g's up and mollie every time, ive been to raves. their fun and everything but the only way they change your life is in a bad way. i stopped going to raves because afterwards my friends just want to live in "raveland" and never come back to reality. shows like that are cool to go to, but rolling is just pointless. you probly think its the shit but id rather have a functioning brain in 10 years and not become some burnout. so yea I UNDERSTAND, i just think theres more important things in life than drugs.

Yeah man, I'm starting to see some real negative sketchy shit go down. I'm still in good shape for now so I'm working on cleaning myself up and doing some more important (to me) stuff. It's amazing how quick you can go from casual concertgoer to someone who puts all their time and energy (and money) into it. All I know is that I don't want to live in "raveland" at any point in my life. Visiting is nice from time to time, but you gotta wake up sometime, and I'd rather wake up in a nice life studying in college than with nothing to do, working just to get by.

i will make the comment that i went to my first massive down in LA over New Years and it is totally different than going to the smaller raves and shows. those are more of an experience and less of a concert.

agreed, but I don't like the music as much and I hate Kandi kids, soooooo yeah, what can you do? All the dope UK acts that come through Denver are pretty dope cause its the true heads that come out. Everyone thinks Bassnectar brings out the true "Bass Heads" but quite the opposite haha I could ramble on about this shit for days and get no where (and I do.) Bottom line. If you like somethin do it, if you don't, don't...

I'm trying to be better about keeping my mouth shut. Obviously to not much avail...

Well, now that i realize this is you tommy i agree, there are more important things in life than rolling. I don't plan on falling into a rut like max and jimmy for instance, i plan on pursuing a major in college and maintaining the same 87 average i have had since before the first time i ate a roll and since then its been 6 times. It's not going to go past 8 i've realized the same thing you have, there are more important things in life than an ecstacy pill, for instance college. Look at it this way, rolling is something some people do because they are addicted to it and rolling is something some people do to experience something they can only do in one night. It's not a way of life for me and never will be, a burn out is not the profression im willing to take in life, and never will be.

And Yes, i am the one who calls excision "god" sometimes. Whomps are getting older and older as time goes on, i want to experience it live once more. But when i say god, i dont mean god. Its just a personification for describing something thats not real. although his music is good and fun to trip/roll to or what not, never would i let the music take over my life. Never will i turn into bisco kid who is fiending to go to every rave that there is, its my family and my homies before all.. drugs are bad mmmKay

enough to blow your mind, no doubt.. I've had my deal with shrooms. Be careful at a rave with those, alls you need is a bad trip to intense ass robot noises and sounds youve never heard before. Deciphering reality from non-reality is the hardest thing to do on mushrooms, i don't recommend them to anyone that doest have a grip on there life in a 100% positive way.

Excision+datsik+subvert was on my birthday. So it was wayyyy better that this (which doesnt stop in canada). And you call them raves, but really, there aren't any real raves anymore. Field parties and breaking into old warehouses and shit was the real rave scene, sad to see it deteriorate.
