Glide cam and t2i

i have been having some trouble balancing my camera i was wondering how many weights i should use for the bottom part.

i have a cannon t2i with the stock lens right now...18-55

probably one or two on each side. I use two with a 17-40 and a battery grip

It really depends on how you have it setup, I went out and bought some different sized washers so could really fine tune it. Also get rid of the 18-55 and invest in some good glass if you can

I'm currently rocking the same exact setup as you so hopefully my info can help you out. I've got my camera mounted all the way back on the baseplate and it is screwed into the hole that is 2nd from the left. I've got the telescoping rod collapsed all the way. I'm using 1 weight on each side with 1 small washer on the back and 2 small washers on the front for a little forward lean.
