Shaun whites pass clipped

yesterday at breck i was riding in the gondola with this random dude and his girlfriend.  he started telling her this story and i just sat and listened.  He said shaun white was riding at keystone i think and cut everyone in line and just hopped in a gondola and didnt let anybody else in.  the lifty stopped the lift and called him out saying he couldnt do that.  he flipped out and was yelling at her saying stuff like "fuck you bitch, dont you know who the fuck i am? nobody treats me this way" then she called the ski patrol manager and he asked shaun how he got a pass.  he said the GM gave him a free 10 day pass then the patrol clipped his pass and said come back tomorrow and buy your own pass. owned.

like i said this was just some random guy talking to his girl so it obviously could be bullshit.  I was just wondering if anybody else heard about this or not.  It seems kind of retarded that keystone would throw the most widely recognized snowboarder out of their resort but then again who knows.  maybe they wanted to send a message, maybe this dude just wanted to get laid with a dumb story about shaun white.

Shows him for being a snowboarding ass hat. Plus who the fuc takes the gondola? I know its a little less of a walk at keystone but come on the lift is so much faster and its nly like 50 more yards.

even if you're just entry level in the Olympics you get a free pass, my friend gets free boards from whoever is sponsoring him and free passes to any mountain if he signs some forms.

just because he has that under his belt, it doesn't mean he can disrespect everyone else on the mountain. fair enough if he had a pass to cut the line, but he just blatantly snaked the shit out of that line, and then talked shit to employees of the mountain. fuck him

i find this story pretty funny. the first time i met seth wescott i had no clue who he was. i was working at a surf and bike shop and he came in. i was 16 or 17 at the time. he was a really down to earth guy. i was kind of wondering why my bosses were being so nice to him as i was helping him with some fins or some shit. after he left they told me who he was.

shawn white obviously needs to take some manor lessons from other Olympians.

Here's the story of why I hate Shaun White...

In December of 2006 he was training at Breck for the upcoming comp season. He never stopped to wait in line for any feature. He had a few other people riding with him, and he would always follow someone than have someone follow him so he never got snaked but the three of them snaked everyone. Then, he didn't wait in the line for five chair, which, after just winning the Olympics, no one cared. Now I don't know if this part is true, but I heard someone say that his reasoning behind never waiting in line is because he hated having to deal with the kids asking for his autograph and such. This makes him a bad guy, because 1) Not many people would ask him for his autograph while riding, it was a weekday before college kids were out and it wasn't busy. 2) The majority of the people who would ask are gonna be groms, and that isn't sharing the stoke if you cant take some time out of your day for the kids.

Then, later that night I went out to dinner with my parents. We were talking to our waitress cus we knew her from a friend of a friend. She told us that she had just waited on Shaun and a couple of his buddies. We're like wow thats really cool to wait on an Olympian. She then informed us he left no tip. Now, I don't know the whole story, she could have given him bad service ("OMG YOU'RE SHAUN WHITE) but that still doesn't mean you shouldn't tip at all (about tipping, waitresses and other people in jobs that rely on tips are paid very little hourly/salary, so if you don't tip, they don't get paid, it isn't like a tip is extra...). Furthermore, after winning the Olympics you should get used to people gawking over you a little, if he didn't want the publicity, maybe he shouldn't have started competing in snowboarding and just done it as a hobby.

Now, that was four years ago and I'm sure he has grown up a lot. BUT, the general idea of how he had his own private halfpipe makes me think he hasn't. That makes me believe that he still can't stand his fans, making this situation not only possible, but probable.

Yea I was at Breck a couple of years ago and he just cut right to the front of the line.
I don't care if you're Shaun White, Tom Wallisch, Bode Miller or Obama, just because you're accomplished doesn't make you better or more deserving than me or anyone else and there's no reason why they should be able to snake the line

shaun white was at my local mountain the other day he had like 53146 little kids following him yelling ZOMGGG ITSS SHAAAWNNNN! I also was able to witness him eat shit trying to do a nosepress on a box. I lol'd everywhere. inb4 cool story bro.

I really don't even know why I am dignifying this with a response, but...

If he were in Freeway it would have been acceptable, because the people who ski in Freeway are generally pay more attention to whats going on and would see his crew coming. And, Freeway is a lot less crowded. BUT, Park Lane almost always has 10 people at the top, 3 or 4 waiting to drop, and when you are about to drop and some asshole comes flying through the gate, cuts in front of you and slashes his speed it sucks. The rest of the park its okay, especially if you are filming, because you can look up and see him coming, but at the top of the park, its a douchebag move to snake people.

You're a fucking moron. If everyone was saying how awesome they think shaun was you would be saying the opposite. Do you even have your own opinions or do you just take what is popular and decide you believe the exact opposite of that? You've been on here since 2003, so I'm assuming you're at least 20, in which case, what the fuck is wrong with you? What the hell happened when you were growing up to make you so pathetic that you have to hate on a bunch of kids online?
