How to export full quality go pro footage FCP

what settings do i export it under to get like the full quality in FCP? I'm shooting in r5 mode.

When you go to export then export to Quicktime you should use the Apple DVCPRO 720p30 Codec, I'm not sure if this comes with every FCP and I have a lot of plugins that are extra. the DVCPRO is the best I've seen so far after a few tries with other 720p codecs such as the HDV. You should try both with the GoPro if one doesn't seem great.

hm...i just tried a sample shot and exported it all those ways, but its still not the quality of the original. I made an edit with my friends gopro last year and it was sick quality...so i've exported it correctly before...i just forget how i guess. i'll give it another try after i finish this goddamn supplement essay

Well, if you follow Ian provo's advice, you should be good. But what is also really important, that Ian says, but I found was my main problem, was the fact that you're shooting in r5... r3 is the best for skiing shots... try that next time you film...
