i was in the lodge the other day, wating patiently in line, which took about twenty minutes until i finally got to the front, and some dude like twenty feet away came unglued and starting screaming at me for cutting and that i was an asshole blah blah blah. at first i didnt think he was yelling at me, then proceeded to explain everything i was wearing and that i was an inconsiderate dick. half of the lodge could hear this dickbag, but luckily like 8 other ppl in line told him to shut up and that i had been there the whole time. then his dumb ass huffed and puffed his whole way out of the lodge. i really hope he was mentally ill or somethin, or this dude is gonna kill someone will all his pent up anger.

at the remarkables in NZ a few years ago it was a really shitty day with only one lift open. really hot wind pretty much melting everything, so people were just screwing around, including us. not taking anything too seriously, joking on the chairs etc. anyway my friend and i sat either side of my sister on the chairlift and we were playfully jabbing her in the ribs with our ski poles. nothing hard, just playful. she was even laughing along while saying 'stop it, stop it'. anyway some old dude on the chair behind us yells out "boys, quit it! leave her alone!". i looked back as if to say what the fuck?? should have chased him down and asked him what his deal was but i just let it go

I hate this shit. I hate when people use the word gay as a put down or some sort of demeaning thing. Was the terrain park really looking like it was homosexual? I dont think so. I just dont think that calling something gay should be used as a put down especially in society today. People need to grow up.

I hate it when older people yell at the kids in the park becasue they think we are endangering those on the mountain because we belong in the park, like zoo animals. Whats more dangerous, a kid who does maybe a 180 or 360 off a little side booter, or some racer/uncontrolled skier bombing down the mountain?

i normally ski tight to skiers right, and i did that past an old guy about 10 ft next to him and at the bottom he pointed at me and said, "if you do that again, I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU"

not a freakout but your post just reminded me of it.. me and my buddy were on the lift with two ski patrol and asnowboarder went down reallly hard and they started laughing! hilarous! then one of  them got a call about a guy who fell on mougles and he looked at the other ski patrol and said nahhh i dont wanna take it hel be fine im sure

my friend was sitting on the deck of the carinthia lodge with a huge gash in his hand, after cutting his hand with a ski.

some kid walked up the stairs, and dragged his skis across my friends legs. obviously, we, including the ski patroller, called him out pretty hard, and out from under his EC ninja mask, comes quite possibly the geekiest, nasal voice i have ever heard, yelling, "IT'S A LOOODGE!!!!!!"

wtf, you dont take your skis into the lodge anyway...

while skiing down to the lift line a little girl fell down in front of me so i simply turned and went around her.. i got in line and shortly her mom came up to me super pissed off and yelled at me for getting to close to her daughter and sche fell because i scared her.. i explained to her that people are going to get close to each other while entering lift lines.. -they were complete gapers by the way

I have two stories from the past weekend:

First, I was straight bombing down this narrow trail where gapers feel it is necessary to use the entire width to complete a single s-turn. So I see this lady, and I think I have plenty of room to get through because it seems like this lady will make a turn before she gets to the very edge of the trail. I was very wrong. This lady goes up on the side of the trail to turn, and I am a few feet away going very fast. I bailed right before hitting her, and got wrecked, I smack my head,lose my poles and a ski, and was disoriented. All I hear is this lady screaming at, "What the the hell are you doing! Your fucking crazy!" while I'm laying on the trail trying to comprehend what happened.


There are no pissed off quotes in this one, but it was hilarious. So my cousin who is snowboarder loves to throw big clouds when coming near the lift line. He accidentally showers this older guy with snow who was waiting at the bottom. The guy tries to punch my cousin and runs into the singles line sign, drops a pole, and falls. The guy was totally embarrased, didn't say a word to my cousin, and skied away.

New years eve in gondola line at aspen mountain
I was trying to walk up to my sister who was standing on the steps a few feet away from me, Guy starts pushing very hard against me, not letting me pass. I proceed to look at him and size him up for a brief second when argument starts
Him- Seriously?
Me- What?
Him- Your pushing me

Me- Uhh no? your still standing... there is a fence behind you

At the smallest park in my homemountain there are two lift-lines. And at that moment the second line was half as long as the first one so I took ofc the smallest, when I got too the line a random grown up man said to me that there was just one line and stuff and ment that there was only one lift so it's one line. We discussed for 5 minutes while we whent foreward in the line. After a while my friend said that he could ask the people that works in the slope. Then the man just looked down on the ground rest of the time we were in the line. There has always been two lines there, and if it was just one the line would go up to the landing of the last jump...

One day i was with my friend goin through the lift lines and apparently we were cutting the line. So this gaper guy was like "is this trail worth the wait? assholes" and we were like "what are you talking about?" and he began to tell us that "this mountain was every much his as it was ours" and how we were disrespectful. it ended with us telling him to fuck off as we road up the lift. infront of him.

At one of my local hills the lift lines are complete shit shows. The ropes funnel from being 40 ft wide down into the loading area. Naturally, everybody jockeys for position. So my bud and I go up with this guy and his daughter. She must have been scared of us twin tippers or something because she didn't get on the lift with her dad. As soon as we get on the lift he yells some shit at me in french. I said "sorry, mate. Je ne parle pas francais plus bein" He responds: "YOU ASS, YOU LEFT MY DAUGHTER BEHIND" in a thick, ugly-ass quebec accent. I reply "I think you left your  daughter behind" he gives me a ridiculously dirty look and nothing is said for the rest of the ride. He muttered something en francais as we got off the lift, but I couldn't hear it. We laughed pretty hard

I was on the lift last weekend and this lady asks me for advice to get from one peak of my mountain to another. So i start telling her how to go about this, stumbling on my own words to get all the trail names right. So just as i'm about to finish my directions some piece of shit chimes in "No, that's completely incorrect" and procedes to tell her the exact same directions but with a different chairlift thrown in. (it's a 2 chair ride to get to the peak from where we are, i just had a slightly different way) fucking twat.
