Does multiple remounts affect a ski THAT much?

Originally my 2011 silencers were mounted right at core center ( which is maybe 2cm back from ski center)..then i got a smaller boot and they were mounted about 1 cm back from core which was ok...but last weekend i ripped my heel piece out and the guy at the shop asked if i wanted to mount forward from the holes or behind and i said definitely forward (I hate un-centered skis) ..but turns out he put em at like 2 back from core ( more like 4 or 5 from true center) when i told him NOT to.....I hate skis mounted that far back, dont preform right in the park and looks silly....should i just remount again?

yes multiple mounts will make your ski weaker. and you can use helicoils to do multiple mounts in the same holes just so you know.

and the dumb ass at the shop claims remounts don't do shit..personally i dont think they do much but they def affect the ski....i guess he was too lazy to use the existing holes

Personally I wouldn't remount the same ski no more than 3 times. Just think about it, you're putting 8 holes in your ski per mount, 3 different mounts is 24 different holes in your ski, all relatively close to each other.

Even three sounds like alot... every hole undermines the core. Over three and you are really gambling. 

Like previously stated helicoils are your best chance.

What about quiver killers? I heard about them.... are they  just glorified helicoils or are they a legitamite alternative? Any opinions?
