Sliding Gutter?

I was wondering if anyone has tried this? I was thinking about putting a gutter such as Click for larger image over the wood and then screwing in from the side. Anyone know if it slides or its to soft? Anything?

ive seen edits with some guy from near me using it, and i imagine it woould slide pretty well

It works. My last box was gutter, because it was cheap, after awhile it chips at the ends though.
