Skiing or sex?

Tanner's comment in Like a Lion that dropping into a half pipe and making the run you want is better than made me think how you guys think about it. No homo.

Now, I got two options for you:
- Never ski again, and have sexy-time all you want.
- Never have sex again (masturbation allowed, just not with the other gender, no handjobs/oral/penetration), but ski all you want. 'Being' with a woman counts, it would be like platonic love.

Now I'm pretty sure most of you spend more time being preoccupied with skiing than sex. I mean, I think a lot about sex, but those thoughts don't last longer than 1 second, like: "Oh, she's hot", or whatever. On the other hand, there's a shitload of daily visitors here that are busy doing whatever thing skiing related.

Of course you don't have to make the choice (thank god!), but what would you pick rather. I really wouldn't know, skiing+masturbation seems like 100%+25%, while only sex seems like 100%+0%.

lets look long term here...

honestly, id rather not be a pornstar... I would get bored of it quick. and skiing is something you can make a real living out of. and i think, if you get good at skiing... you would make some cash, especially in the years to come (all the new skiiers and companies n shit), with skiing you can travel the world (skiable + urban world) and fucking everyday you would probs be in a studio... i duno about you guys but id rather be outside...
oh and skiing would make real money
fucking would be like 40k a year

da fuck are you talking about. doesn't have to do with making a living. try being in love with someone and never being intimate with them. if i couldn't ski, i would just play hockey or something. i wouldn't be able to deal with not having a physical side to a relationship for the rest of my life

im talking about if you were to peruse either in a career (notice the "long term") and if they are the only 2 options.... that was the question right? and im not just saying in high school or collage when you do comps n shit, you can become a coach, or work in th ski industry. i just see more jobs in this sport rather than the act of having sex.

Id live in Cali or something and surf more. Although the joy of surfing and skimboarding, doesnt compare to the rush i get from skiing, there's life after skiing. I mean how long do you think you can doing park and pow? And being a Pro/or all life skier doesnt really give you a lot of money, unless you're t-hall. And masturbating for the rest of your lfie is not only pathetic, its fucking weird. I love skiiing and I need it in my life but i would choose sex if i had too. Having a physical, and yes emotional, relationship is pretty awesome. Rather have a wife than being alone the rest of my life

the question is more simple than that. has nothing to do with careers. this is a question about you, as you are right now. you arent somebody who is going to be a pro skier, you arent somebody who will be a pornstar. this is a question to you, mr deezy. would you rather be able to ski and never have a physical relationship with a girl, or would you rather have the opportunity to be physical and never ski again?

it's a question for you, with your current scenario. not a question about well if you were a pro, or if you had to pursue a career in either skiing or porn.

i still dont understand how anybody can say they'd pick skiing over sex. you would really go the rest of your life without a physical connection with somebody just to ski? i mean, shit, skiing is just a past time for the vast majority of us, and there are many other 'extreme' sports out there you can participate in that im sure would make you happy..

ahha i see... in that case, right now id give up skiing... i was just talking like LONG term.
hard choice tho.

it would be funny if someone was actually presented with this ultimatum and picked skiing... then had a career ending injury.

also i have 2 jobs one on hill one off, so im good either way :p

thank god we dont have to actually choose.

to me its more like: a hobby, or love. i dont know how you could ever be in love with someone without ever having a physical connection. they'd basically just be a friend. and i dont want to imagine a life without love. a life without skiing = find some other activity that makes you happy. no big deal.

If you really don't give a fuck about whiny ass girls then its the other way...i can truly say ive never felt any connection to a girl besides fucking her.so to me girls would be a hobby and skiing is my life.

then again high school girls are bitchy as fuck...If i met a girl that skied alot like me i would prob....uhhh nevermind if she skied as much as i did, id still pick skiing .

Skiing for me. Skiing is the most fun thing I do, and something I can (and do) share with friends and family as much as I want. Also, there is a lot more to a relationship than just the physical aspect, and I think the emotional is way more important [ex. try being with someone that doesn't make you happy but is hot... :( ]

Not to mention that I spend much more time skiing than I do having sex. Last but not least, I got by fine for the first (unspecified amount) years of my life when I wasn't having sex, and I'm pretty sure I could do it again... never skiing again is way to big of a price.

sex wouldnt be fun for after 2 or 3 times a day, but the euphoric feeling you get from hiking and stomping a new trick can happen as many times as your determination and creativity allow.

and skiing EVERY DAY? i could travel the world, go heli skiing, and enjoy some fine powder. and you dont need to put a paper bag over top of powder on the slushy days...

Think about all of those monks who spend thier lives not having any sexual interaction. sex....thats what a skateboard is for. there is plenty of shit to do other than ride a mountain covered in frozen water. and some are thinking about this the wrong way...the option to do either whenever wherever...no, it is not mandatory to strap the skis on everyday, and thus is it also not mandatory to get between the sheets everyday too
