HELP!! ON3P Caylor

So I'm looking at grabbing the 191 Caylor. All the reviews have left me giddy to try em out. I am looking for a daily driver. Something a bit fatter to rip every day. I'm a fast and aggressive skier, love jibbing the whole mtn, drops, trees, pow, speed, groomers, etc. This will be my every day ski. In school cant afford a quiver but need something that rips everything.

Can anyone that has ridden these skis let me know about how long they ski? I know the running length is 97cm but without riding a pair, I dont know how this feels with the rocker and I'm skeptical to purchase. Also, how heavy are they? I want to be able to throw em around. Flips, spins, some park.

I was on 186 Prophet 100s and these seemed to be a great length. Im thinking with the rocker the 191 Caylor shouldn't be too big. The 181 seems too short. I'm 80% sure these are the skis I want, I'm just concerned about the length. Honestly havent found anything else that would be suitable.

I ski Whistler / PNW
Im 25 yrs, 5'10 / 180lbs
Aggressive expert skier.
Budget is around $800ish
I want a ski to jib the whole mtn and can take big drops, steeps, pow, high speed, groomers etc.
I was on 186 Prophet 100s

They ski pretty short, as you stated, the running length is 97cm. However, the sidecut (at 162cm) will hook up when you put them on edge, so they'll make decent turns on the hardpack. You don't want the 181 coming from the 186 prophet, the 191 is the right size. Weight? Decently light, for their size of course. Lighter than Hellbents that is for sure. They won't be Bent'chetler light, but they are beefier than the Atomic offering. Suggested mount is -3, you'll be able to throw these around and spin them for sure. Chris, you want these skis. :D

Im 6' 170. My last skis were salomon Guns 181 ish.

first Impression holy crap these skis kicked my ass. After about 4 days on them I feel super comfortable, charging threw the chopped with ease, throwing 180's off everything riding switch is a blast. I find these skis like super mellow wide turns or slashly pow turns, carving on groomers is a bit harder. Great pow ski, depending on were I ski it would not be my first one ski quiver choice

i love my caylors and they destroy day old pow, but i would look into something else as a daily driver type. Maybe something similar but a little narrower, or with a touch of camber underfoot.

Threads for when i get more non-pow days on my caylors so i can write a more detailed review on them as a daily driver type ski

Caylors are sick...but honestly they are a pow focused ski. If you are looking for something that is more versatile or a 1 ski quiver maybe look at the Billy Goats. They are very similar to both the JJs and the Bent Chetlers but with a little stiffer tail. They are somewhat heavy but the Caylors are even more heavy. If your ever caught in any ice with the Caylors it would be fun...and by that i mean its terrifying. The BGs can carve much better and hold their own on ice.

Pretty much: Caylors = epic powder/BC jib ski
Billy Goats = super versatile all mountain killer/powder ski

I love my caylors, they were my daily ski last year for the better part of the season. Yeah they're a pow ski, but a pow ski that can kill it in the deep and you can even rail turns on groomers.

Haha, back I say, back!

I'm actually in agreement though, 120 at the waist is not what I'd call an everyday ski. Though I'd ski Caylors every day (181s on crappy days, 191's on bigger days), something smaller underfoot might be better for you, unless you're into chubbies like me. PM me dude, I've know you way before I got involved with this company, I'll try my best to give you the most unbiased advice I can.

I have some 181 Wrenegades that I absolutely love. They are awesome in pow, especially at speeds. Great in crud, especially at speed. Super fun and stable on groomers, once again especially at speed. I have a review on them, check them out. They have been pretty much my everyday ski unless I know that I'm going to be doing some jibbing, park, or not skiing anything soft (for this I have Zeros). But if you're looking a more jib oriented ski such as the Caylor, then you may not be interested in the Wrenegade.

I love my 191 caylors so far, but I definitely wouldn't use the as a daily driver. I'm a fan of traditional camber and a bit narrower profile on firm snow for sure. I think the wrenegades would be a much better tool for the job.

I love my caylors. Unless I'm gonna be in the park or there has been no snow in weeks, I use them as my daily driver. I have even hit some park and they handle great. Definitely recommend them

I have the Prophet 100s and the 191 Caylors.  Had to mount them 1.5 cm behind the line.  I don't really ski my Prophets anymore.  nuff said.

i ski the 181 caylors, i wouldnt want to run them every day, but thats just me, i guess you like really fat skis on groomers? i dont, but then again i bring up gs skis on groomer days

you probably want 191's, i wish i got the 191, i got the 181 because i ski in the woods quite a bit but they do ski fairly short
