So my parents decided that my whole family is goin to France this summer.. not sure what to expect. Any Nser's been there? im stoked but i have no clue what to do in france other than museums. +K for good tips

there is no swiss side to mont blanc. The summit lies on the border of France/Italy.

And there isn't one actually up mont blanc. You can go up l'aiguille du midi, right next to it. (one of the most awe-inspiring places i've ever been. highly recommended.) And from up there, you can take a tram to pointe helbronner, on the italian side. But if you want to go up mont blanc, you're walking.


But yes, if you're in France and get the opportunity, definitely go to the alps. Unforgettable trip for me.

if your going to the alps which you shoud both tignes and deux alpes have glaciers with snowparks on

mountains up there are really nice in summer as well
tignes has water ramps which is a +

go atlantic coast also hot loadsa beaches ( one super long one op the whole coast really) and really good for surfing if you do if not just learning or bodyboarding or wotever.

i remember when i was about 8 i went from switzerland to france, took a gondola up a mountain, then took a train. my geography skills at the age of 8 were quite terrible

although a family trip will need more consensus, I would still avoid the Alps.
Awesome no doubt, but France has much better assets.

And to all the kids traveling with schools: that fuckin blows. My condolences.

Hey I went 4 years ago with my school. It was awesome. My french teacher and her husband were drunk the whole time, and the other parents were husband and wife which the wife was an alcoholic. Made the trip loads of fun. And only like 14 or 16 kids from our school went, so it was a small group and everyone was tight.
