SNOWBOARDERS WEARING SAGA!!!???

ok i was up in the park the other day and three snowboarder kids came down the mtn with BRAND NEW saga's.
One was a darkside, another was a lobster and the other was a gold coast.

Then they just sat there like gapers!!!

I'm a little pissed off...

what do you u think?

well we've been wearing their outerwear for as long as I can remember (burton, 686, quicksilver, holden, foursquare, ect.), and they don't seem to mind. Therefore why should we care, their supporting a small SKI company that makes really legit outerwear.

i dont want to hate on you, but its kinda hard not to, i mean are you serious?, you came in to ski gabber and posted this thread thinking you were going to get everyone riled up about snowboarders "stealing our swag"?.

guess what, snowboarders wear saga, they also wear jiberish, they also slayed all the rails that were slaying, now 4 years before us. i know i know, but its the truth.

this thread is nothing but a perfect example of the wack attitude that so many of us are carrying around with us these days. worry about yourself man.

Be happy kids are buying Saga gear even if they don't ski, the company deserves to get publicity and customers they make good outerwear! and stuff shouldn't be segregated by skier snowboarder it'd be better if we all just got along!

I am sure you aren' t nearly as pissed off as you sound...I bet you didn't intend to be on the receiving end of this thread eh?

Like other NSers I started off wearing Burton stuff because it looked and felt damn cool. Essentially as a community we used snowboarding freestyle gear to help deferrentiate us from the racing skiers types. Then we used snowboard terrain parks (illegally for the most part) to establish our park style. It is good to share, it give us variety, no? It is a bit of give and take...promoting peace between single and double planks give us more say as a group and will give us better terrain and products to access.

In conclusion, most NSers love Saga so why wouldn't the other people who share the mountains like it too? We all ride the same stuff.

Again I'm sure you meant no harm...just trying to start a disscussion, right?

100% fine with me. Quality outwear no matter how you choose to get down the hill. It's sort of like when I used to rock Burton, DC, and Special Blend back before there was stylish ski stuff--sometimes I still wear it!

I snowboard and ski and I wear Saga. I'm much better at snowboarding than skiing, but every time I go to a mountain I do both, usually snowboard around a bit, then towards the end of the day switch to skis. Both sports are fun. My Saga doesn't go to my knees. And it's a solid black jacket. If you have a problem with me wearing Saga when I snowboard, please, tell me, in person. I will tell you what I think about how you look then. Thank you.
