Help with a Broken PX14 Heelpiece

The other day I was skiing the woods and I lost my forward pressure on one of my PX14s. When taking a closer look at the binding I noticed that the metal tab that you lift with a screwdriver in order to adjust the forward pressure was completely broken off. Now the heel piece is locked in the track and there seems like there is no way of getting it unlocked/off. Anybody have a solution for removing the heel piece off the track? I've got another heelpiece I could easily slide on the track, but thats not happening I get the old one off.

the only way i can think that you can get it off is to unscrew the binding off the ski and separate the mounting platform from the track the heel peice lays on. turn it upside down and then get a screw driver and press down on the broken tab and remove tge heel peice and then get a replacement one. you should be able to use heelpeice from any px style bindings for the time being.

Thanks I'll end up doing that if need be, but I was hoping I didn't have to remount.

You could probably quiver killer that shit for the heel peice. Its better then helicoiling and you dont have to change your mounting position and you can use the exsisting holes.

You wouln't have to remount to just remove the heel binding.
Just unscrew and slip on the new heel binding. Fill the holes on your skis with some wood glew and screw the bindings back in and let that dry over night.

Problem solved!
