Only suggestion I can give you is F-Stop. They are expensive up front but the features and the quality will pay for itself multiple times. I use mine daily for my laptop, clothes, etc. Perfect bag. Take a look at a review of the Tilopa: http://snowtographers.com/2010/reviews/f-stop-tilopa

I have a rather large Burton one, it fits my camera body, 5 lens's, 2 flashs, and still have more room lol.
completely weather proof as well, and the pading is amazing.

I have a dakine reload bag, its huge, i love it. I can carry my hvx, 40d, lenses, hard drives, laptop and stuff other random shit in it too.

Agreed. I have the Dakine Sequence, and while it's a good bag it's rather clunky. There's something I don't quite like about it. I also have no idea if it's truly weather resistant. I don't own a full size F-stop pack, but I do own the Navin, their smaller single body/ lens bag and it's great. Sturdy, resistant to water, water proof zippers. I don't worry when it begins to rain, which is big for me.

^ continuing on from above.. Despite not having used one, I think the design of the bigger F-stop bags is a lot more well thought out. And clearly it's a pack made by skiers who put thought into what it would be used for. The Sequence is still a great bag, but I can't get over the feel. It just doesn't "feel" like what I want in my photo bag. An F-stop pack has long been on my wish list, but at the moment I'm not into photography enough to justify the buy when I already have another bag. If I didn't own the Sequence I would buy the F-stop, even if it is a good $100 more pricey.

Yep.

I have the Satori and it's great. Very rugged, weather proof, sealed zippers, can be used as a hiking backpack, comfy when it's loaded up with gear, the list goes on.

those f-stop bags look awesome.

but I have a Clik Pro Elite and i love it. it's big but it can carry my 15" laptop, tripod, ipod, multiple headphones, 4 lenses, T2i, HVX, GoPro+helmet strap, all my filters, Beachtek audio mixer, HVX backup battery, Rode NTG-2 mic+windshield, gloves, all my camera manuals, all my lens cleaning stuff, hard drive, extra T2i batteries, sunglasses, and all my cables.

needless to say, it can get really heavy. but i love that bag, it's perfect for going on trips when you know you'll be shooting a lot and need all your gear.

Hiking you say? How does it stand compared to traditional hiking packs when the camera block is out? I have been needing a new hiking pack and that could be the trigger...

Tamrac Expedition 8x bag is by far the best bag I have used. It fits a 17" laptop bag, HPX170, 7D, 70-200mm, 3 or 4 primes (you could fit more). It holds 16 CF cards and various cords in the front pockets, which have hydrophobic zippers. the straps are super bulky as well, and take off much of the weight. There are other bags that fit lots of things, but this is by far the most "secure" bag I've used. You can shake it and nothing will wiggle inside; it's all rock solid.

I have same one, its an OGIO ty2 Video bag, i fit my DVX, my fisheye, my D80, two lenses, 3 batteries for my DVX, a shitload of tapes, and my laptop it could fit alot more though

my Tamrac 6X expedition is bomber as hell. It's a little bulky but that's a small price for me to pay with the gear (plus the bulkyness is actually an insane amount of padding). this thing has held up during falls at full speed, i can leave it in the snow for hours and it doesn't get wet, and it holds more than all my gear (i end up putting my film camera in it.

Anyone have any suggestions for a small lightweight pack? I currently have a Lowepro Nature Trekker AW II that i can fit all my gear in, but at 6.39 pounds empty, it isnt exactly light. I am looking for something that will fit a body and 2 lenses or so for shredding on powder days. Most small packs I see tend to be short and stubby. I am looking for something long and slender that wont bounce around and will allow me shred lines and cliffs without feeling like i have an anchor on my back. Any suggestions?

F-stop is the way to go in the long-run, as their bags are the top-quality you're going to find out there for camera backpacks.

..but in the short-term you can absolutely get away with something like a Dakine Sequence on the cheap. I found one used on ebay for 40$ and it's able to fit almost everything I'd need.

Two camera bodies with lenses attached, 2 flashes, and a prime/WAzoom. Plus a tripod, a gorillapod, all the cards and batteries I'd ever need, clothes, food, and other shit.

yeah, it gets heavy with a full-load, but if you're not venturing too far out or for too long, it's absolutely fine. Pairs up with my smaller shoulder bags pretty well.

I know this question was already asked, but the link that he gave was broken, so does anyone know where I can get just the Dawkins camera block? I already have a mission and it would be the most cost effective way to go for me.
