Soo sick. So many good shots from throughout the years. It was nice to see a look back at hunting yeti and the shots that originally got me stoked to ski
Watching this just brought a tear to my eye... though some will say it's overprocessed, those were some of the best minutes of ski movie ever made, with approximately the best sound track ever used.
Now please tell me that was a trailer and not a goodbye... if its the latter, I will miss Nimbus much the same way that I would miss skiing in the summer were I not to know it would return in the winter.
Thank you, Eric, Andy, and Pep, for starting this thing, and to everyone else who made it great along the way. Chris, Gary, Ike, Justin, Anthony, Dylan, and all the rest.
Didn't like the vignetting and the whole yellow-blue hue thing that was going on, but that intro was simply amazing, incredible. Such a simple idea with such a magnificent realization/implementation. If there's something a sport/activity/subculture needs, it's subtle insights into the things that affect everyone from outsiders, things like winter, snow, the cold.
that was done really well. rather confused on the timing and purpose but hey, thank you's are always welcome, especially from the producer rather than the consumer.
Well thank you Nimbus for reminding me why I ski. That was one of the best edits I have ever seen. The skiing, music, editing, everything was just so awesome.
OMG that was amazing. Pink Floyd and Nimbus goes well. As usual, their butters and slashes are perfect. I've been calling them nimbus butters to describe their perfection. The intro was great too, such a well executed and filmed part.
it's amazing that these are free. i'm not complaining but still. it was so good, the filming an editing were amazing. the collection of shots was awesome. never before have I wanted to watch or ski powder than after watching a nimbus feature. I mean i'm from new jersey and as much as skiing snow looks fun, I just don't get to do it. so watching isn't usually as entertaining as something like Work It Out. But I'm super stoked to go out to Colorado soon. I was anyway but that made it better.
My reading comprehension may suck, but my hearing sure doesn't. I was riding a chair at Mammoth with Chris Benchetler just after the new year, and said that they were wrapping up and throwing together a thank you edit to the sponsors.
I disagree. I thought the yellow and blue tints were pretty majestic and only framed the skiing beautifully. Other than that the description of the intro is spot on.
Again, Thank you nimbus for creating beautiful and amazing documentations of skiing. You guys really do prove what skiing is all about. Having fun with friends while skiing.
