World Overpopulation

The world has too many people. In the next 40 years, the world's population could grow by another 50% to 9 billion people with most of the growth taking place in less developed regions. This will create a significant burden on the world's resources. Although dealing now with the causes of climate change is important, it's more important to deal with the underlying problem. There are too many of us.

Some nations in Africa are currently unable to adequately feed their citizens and yet Africa's population could double within the next 30 years.

Something needs to be done. Humans are an arrogant species and are destroying a very unique planet and its frustrating as hell. Sure most people on here wont give a fuck and/or will dish out hate but I dont care. Something needs to be done soon or the planets fucked./rant

Makes sense, but urbanization is definitely not a solution to the problems caused by population growth and development, it is a result.

the earth can accommodate 20 billion people so we have a ways to go. not saying thats a solution or anything but overpopulation isnt as imminent as some people think

possibly do it like china, and put a limit to the amount of children produced.
As Americans, we really do need to cut back on usage. We waste so much, and just absolutely eat away at the Earths Resources.

Nobody really knows how many people the earth can hold. The number keeps increasing with advancements in technology. But we fuck with that by consuming more than we need.

muslims and africans i would say. Anybody who can survive by themselves but cant support having their own children should do just that, survive by yourself, but keep your fucking dick in your pants. If you happen to have a talent that lets you end up with enough money to raise kids, then by all means have kids and raise them yourself. But if you are a retarded african holding a spear,  do us all  a favor and wear a condom, or neuter yourself. It will make everybody happier. Having kids that starve to death isnt any good for your genetic success, and it embarasses your entire race in the problem.

my solution is that bill gates and all the super smart/rich tycoons should donate sperm to africa along with some of their money. That way, the african kids will be half bill gates, meaning alot smarter than normal africans, and they will have a little chunk of change so they can afford an education or whatnot. Thats the only way to pull africa into this millenium in my opinion

this reminds me of the malaria debate. it would cost us a couple of $billion to immunise all of africa against malaria. currently there are hundreds of thousands, if not millions, dying each year from this disease. yet we choose not to. why? because its better to have those people die than it is to take the existing amount of food and other resources away from the healthy people and distribute it amongst the would-be survivors. so it becomes a choice....allow people to die of malaria or ruin the quality of life for the broader population and have most of them starve to death. i know which one i prefer.

its a tricky situation though.

They dont actually have kids just for the sake of having kids. Most of those people live in rural areas and they have kids so they have more hands on their farm.

More kids = more employees essentially.

India needs to cool it a little they have way too many fucking kids. Their quickly on their way to be the worlds most populated country. Its rediculous.

Then they all migrate to canada, yay..... more asians and indians.

In 25 years canadians will be the minoritie in some canadian citys.
