Waterville Valley, and Cranmore vs. Sugarloaf and Saddleback

My mom brother and i are taking a ski trip mid February early march, im not that great of a skier just learned swaps, 270's on/off, the whole package. But the point is we would be taking a trip to Waterville Valley and Cranmore or Sugarloaf and Saddleback. I like easy jibs t boxes flat rails nothing to hard right now my knee is on the mend, also maybe a little bit of glades and powder skiing. Is you guys could help me decide. +Karma for opinions

I've been to Waterville twice before. Once was a great year with a lot of snow and the other wasn't too great. The park is really nice though. I'd go with Waterville

Yeah i would go on a ski trip there and cranmore and i heard waterville does have great parks.

Saddleback has amazing glades and so many it's not funny and Sugarloaf is opening Brackett Basin this year and usually has a pretty good park set-up.

Best REAL SKIING: Sloaf + Saddleback

Best MIX or REAL SKIING and Park: Sloaf + Saddleback

BEST PARK: Waterville Valley+Cranmore

waterville and cranmore about an hour and a half away.  sugarloaf and saddleback are both way better and closer together so go there

exactly.... the loaf has a pretty good and fun park... lots and lots of awesome trees and steeps.

i think the loaf would be perfect. plus the loaf will have a little less of a crowd than waterville

It has been decided, im going to waterville/cranny only because ive been paying attention to the weather and no major/minor snow storms are due from now till the dates of the trips and cranny/wv seem to have more beginner / advanced friendly parks.

This is after the fact, but you just based a trip off of weather a month in advance.

I used to ski at wv and cranmore, and they are fun, but they get crowded and are kind of small. Sugarloaf and Saddlback are REALish MOUNTAINS with better skiing than the others....

But the parks can be kinda fun. Waterville's exhibition gets really big around then and they kinda neglect the other parks. Cranmore has a fun park, but honestly the rest of the mountain sucks....

The best park isnt always the best park for that individual skier.  I think you would enjoy the park just as much if not more at sugarloaf/saddleback as it is a much easier environment and VERY VERY friendly to begginers
