Ski Rental - Seattle

I'm flying into Seattle on Friday, and heading up to Baker but looking to rent a pair of twins for a week or-so. I think I'm staying at Hotel Andra, so ideally I'd like to find a shop nearby in the AM to pickup some skis. Any suggestions are welcomed, much thanks guys.

Seattle Ski in North Seattle(Shoreline) or Grassroots in Everett. My best bet would to contact either one of those shops and ask them about what you could rent from them. If not, always try contacting Baker and seeing what they have for you to rent. You might need to "demo" skis because some shops wont rent twins. I think your best bet would to contact Seattle Ski, those guys are all super rad.

coolio, im gonna make somem calls. thanks for your help! i would just rent from baker directly, but first-day we're going to head to some back-country before making our way up to Baker and I need some twins before I get to the mountain.

Seattle Ski rents twins at 40 bucks a day. Not so bad, but a week coming out to like 300 bucks.. now I'm considering purchasing a fresh pair and just flying out with own twins. could be twice as expensive,but id own a fresh pair.. hmm...

if you're not brining avy gear you should go somewhere other than baker. baker inbounds is tracked out by 9:45 but friday/saturday does look good for snow in the region.

also stuartvant's is a good shop too, right off the highway in lynnwood (north seattle)

grassroots outdoor in everett is a painfully awkward wannabe shop and I would recommend going somewhere else

You can rent a pair of my skis for 40 bucks a day. If you break them youll get free rides around the airport and get on the plane first~

why are you not taking your own skis? regardless of what airline you're flying, it shouldnt be more than $25 each way to check your ski bag.

the hotel andra is dope though. i stayed there a few months ago when i was out in seattle. place is baller, and the little restaurant next door has phenomenal breakfast too.

Ah.. well, tbh I'm coming from the east-coast where i don't get to see much snow..and am riding with some friends who've already planned the trip. i dont foresee going out of bounds since i dont rock any avy gear, but im just stoked to get out on there.. thanks for all your input though guys. may end up purchasing a pair of the icelantic pilgrims in the AM and just fly out with a fresh setup...

the pilgrims were great, held up really well in the pow and also on the groomers, great weight and felt strong edge to edge. not much to complain. wish i had mounted em a little farther back once i hit the deep stuff, but it was a great trip overall
