Denver Big Air admission

there was a thread a while ago that said that up to 25,000 would get into the Denver Big Air free and that the ticket pricing was only for VIP, but after looking at the website http://www.denversports.org/denverbigair-tickets.html there are tickets being sold for $80 that say general pass and there are also VIP passes for $200. Anybody know what the real story is? Is it free for G.A. or not? And if it isn't free, do you have to pre-order tickets or can you buy them at the gate??

I made that original thread I will find it and bump it.  I got it from the people putting the comp on.  I am also volunteering to help build the jump.

I just called Denver Sports and they said that there WILL NOT be any free admission. Tickets are $45 per day.

Jesus... That's some moola, it's like paying for one day of a sick festival. I'm guessing there are some other events there during the day?

$45? That sucks. Why would I pay $45 to watch a shitty one hit wonder when I can ride at Breck or Keystone and watch pros all day?
