Replying to Puderluder/Quiverkiller installation snafu

Puttin theese on my new gorgeous artist edition surface one lifes, on mount for salomon sth another for my tele ntns... First three are golden, but I think the fact that I was working in my frigid garage made the epoxy harden quickly and i probably globbed to much on the next three holes, e.g, next attempts are screwed- immediately tried to clear out holes and wipe down drill bits/inserts w/ vinegar (no acetone) to get rid of extra epoxy, think Im screwed and have to redrill or will they be salvageable? any tips/tricks?
