yes. they're chrome. i ball hard as fuck, on $2000 wheels from japanland.
and no offense, but you clearly don't know what kouki is. so instead, i'm going to keep my $300 oem wing
how about you just keep blazing and not care about who i give my fucking opinion out to. especially when it's opinions about my own fucking car.
There are kouki s14's too, you're right there. they just have completely different aero.
All I have left is the tails and a front lip and it'll be all finished, then it's time for my motor. Full aero for a kouki s13 is
-front + lip
-sides
-rear valences
-wing
-tail lights
and some people like to throw a roofwing on as well. but yes, i really do like the car and can't wait until the first event in april so i can sling this son of a bitch into a wall in 2nd ;)

Figured I share some of my dudes
Nova runs low 12's, teg is tuned at 255 wheel at 10lbs, but just got his methanol setup finished. should be around 320 wheel. the benz has exhaust and 18x10/11.5. the civic is a built single slammer that's boosted that puts down about 290 at 22lbs, and he just got methanol toooo !

1j's are hella nice motors, and isn't too much more than an sr, still trying to decide i guess.
my buddy joe has a 1j with a chinabay turbo in his sc300, and it put down 407 wheel at 18lbs ! rolling at 80, he'll drop into third and spin through, then chirp fourth. it's nuts
where are you located and what's your friends name?
and i would never boost a ka. ever. for the money it would cost me, i could have a reliable sr that puts down more power.
orrr like we've both talked about, i could just do a 1j. this thread has somehow given me motivation now to start managing money better ha
turbos run on rally, baja and other vehicles that spend their lives in mud/water/dirt so that really isnt a good arguement
like charmander said, more power is more often that not a good thing
plus a lot of the build ups i've seen with turbo wranglers are dune runners, these guys arent out crawling rocks turning huge heavy tires..theyre have a pre runner style set up with a low cog and a need for high end power which is where strapping a turbo on the 4.0 comes in perfectly
out of prefernce i'd rather stroke it out...as the old saying goes theres no replacement for displacement
