Im Nordic (Danish)... And currrently very happy to say: ''Goodbye spaghetties!!!''. Denmark and Sweden go on for the quarter finals! Italy didn't diserve to go in the tournament.

Ofcourse everyone in the italian press is going to say that it was a fixed match between Denmark and Sweden. If anyone says that, they didn't watch the match! Both Denmark and Sweden never gave up to score another goal!

Yeah Denmark!

I think that the tournament so far has been amazing, but I am ashamed that none of you have mentioned the czeck republic. They are absolutely the best team that I have seen play. the czeck/holland game was off the hook. I would also like to point out that I have never seen someone hit the ball as hard as Nedved. That guy is amazing..

It was definately had the most drama of any game I've seen. The soccer itself wasn't really that great. But when you look back on the game, that's not what you remeber is it?

Should be a kickass game today I would imagine.

Anyways... what are everyone's thoughts on the elimination of the 'golden goal'. And also, that strange offside rule?

the chechs are out too ... portugal - greece is the final. there is no way though that greece is going to win it. i mean they played an really impressive tournament so far, but there is no way that they could compete with portugal, considering how portugal played their last games.

Hmmm everyone has been ruling the Greeks out since the beginning.

I think it's 50-50.

This reminds me of the Danish goldendays in 1992 when we also won the whole tournament. Winning against both Holland/Netherlands and Germany.

The Greeks are ready for a 'mirracle'.

greece does not deserve to be where they are, they arent a european country, the final should have been France vs Holland, with Holland winning 3-2.

the czechs were undeafeated (beating good teams by the way) to the semi-finals and greece beat them. Portugal would have to be favorites but it will be a very close game.

OH MY LORRRRRRRRRRD i cant beleive greece has made it this far.... and for a semi finals match, that was the sloppiest football i've seen... what a horrible game, just end to end goalie play... no strategy, just kick and go.
