Home made GoPro mounts

I think about 90% of ns now has go pros and the mounts could be kind of expensive in some cases so if you make a mount from something or use a mount in another way than made for please post here!

here is my creation: I used an old pair of suspenders and wraped them under my arms backwards and connected them, i plan to stick a flat stickie to the black part of the suspenders and slide the quick release mount onto it just like the chest mount go pro sells i also taped the back in two spots like straps

its easier if you just put the straps through the orig plate mount that the gopro comes on.

i made a pole mount using a shower curtain rod and a bolt for the tripod mount
and a cable cam with a bolt for the tripod mount

a friend of mine made a super quality chest mount but the shots don't come out as great as you might imagine. I stucka mount to the end of one of my ski poles though and it makes for some awesome reverse pov shots when you hold it out pointed back at yourself ian provo style

my helmet go pro thing flew off today in the middle of a backflip and i had to look for it for a while, pretty shitty.. i almost want to drill one of the mounts into my helmet, any ideas?

my friend welded the bottom square on the wrong way so i just flipped the bolt and hang it upside down

shots from it at 0:55-1:10, and 1:22

i dont have any pictures of the pole, its just a shower curtain rod, so its extendable, with a 1/4" bolt in one end so it can screw into the tripod mount

and here's a little test from the cable cam, this is before i started tightening itwith my slackline, which has helped smooth it out

Heres mine. Took me 20 minutes to put this together..
1 piece of pvc.
old bike grip
a pvc mount? to mount wood to pvc
3x3 in cedar wood.
GoPro adhesive flat mount.
a couple screws.
lots of duct tape.
=
This..
works very well..and is surprisingly very sturdy.

nope. not as heavy at all..considering the pvc is hollow and only about three feet long, it's fairly light. it's just another reason i used the cedar..it's very light. I'm very pleased.

My gopro handle mount, only thing I dont like is that I have to carry it around the park rather than my poles.
