Naturally spinning unnatural....

when i go to set a regular spin, i naturally spin left but when i go to do a switch spin, i end up spinning the opposite way. im 100% sure its because im just more comfortable looking around my right shoulder than my left but i want to spin the right way so i can make it past 3s. any ideas on spinning the "natural way"?

more practice skiing switch. not even just hitting jumps, just skiing around the mountain. Work on the stagger so you can open your body better with more comfort and control when looking over your less-comfortable shoulder. It doesn't happen overnight.
It is very common. So many threads through the ages of NS on this.

despite the fact that there were two threads about this...
i do the same thing. this year ive been working super hard to get my left shoulder down so i can spin all 4 ways. basically, you need to get comfortable taking off looking over both shoulders.

guess I missed both these threads. I spin right while forward or backwards. I can get up to 540's forward or backward left or right on rollerblades (probably skis as well, I never tried to check all the variations) anything over i need to go right.
except 180's, I spin left while forward, and to the right while backwards.

yea i used to do the same thing also just practice skiing around switch looking over your left shoulder till you get comfortable with it then start hitting jumps and spinning left.
