anyways the shop was telling me they can do some boot work on em..grind down some little parts of something and it will soften em up..Can someone please explain to me how this works?

Wow. How heavy are you? If you are too light for a 80 flex boot you must weigh like half a pound or something.

i was gonna say.
if you're like 15 or something, you'll get heavier. so don't do anything. plus you don't want a noodle boot.

Haha. I am 14 and 6' 4" 260 pounds. Nice boots though. I hope you can find something that softens em up. Would have gotten a pair if they weren't to soft for me( irony...)

Dalbellos have small circular hole type things on the sides of their tongues that you can grind down to make it softer. Any shop should easily be able to do this for you.

Have you checked out different pairs, just to make sure there is nothing wrong with your pair? Because this just sounds strange. I can flex 120 boots just fine at 165 pounds.
