Pow haters

So I'm on the lift today and we are talking about going out of bounds to ski some freshies and this guy next to me says that pow sucks and that it's all about park. Later in the day I'm with one of my boarder friends and I'm talking to him about it and he says that he also hates pow. How is that even possible? Thought please.

well you can always ski like ahmet daldali does in the pow if you are a park skier, wear tall ts and an open jacket.

but seriously, if you know how to ski pow, its the best!

My First day I hit jumps, not big ones, but park jumps and went in the powder hen I still couldn't ski for shit. and on my second day skiing I hit a rail.

True powder can take away fear if you land in it. But powder can be just as dangerous or even more dangerous than park. Sure you can hit your head on a rail or land upside down on hardpack snow but you could be skiing powder and hit a tree or a rock get stuck in an avy. Powder doesnt really take away they fear in my opinion. People just feel that its less scary. But I get what your saying

Honestly, these threads and opinions all boil down to trying to get people to agree with you, not whether park or pow is actually "better."
