What can you do for a partially collapsed sidewall

I just realized my side wall is messed up and the edge of my ski has a crack in it. This has never happened to a pair of my skis before so i have no clue what to do. The base is bulging up now (kinda hard to see in the pictures). Any help will be rewarded with lots of +k.

^^^^^^ also it is very hard to see but the edge is split right in the middle in that gouge

Pics are really hard to make out...

Are the skis cap or sandwich construction? (If you don't know just tell me what the name of the skis are...)

Whack it with a hammer until its flat, then seal it with epoxy.

yea it kinda looks like that, the skis are dynastar troubles from last year, if it helps they have a girl on the bottom

Don't.


That's a sidewall construction ski so it can be fixed. Take it to your local shop and they'll take care of you.

And what they will do is, whack the edge with a hammer, until it is straight, and epoxy the sidewall closed.

Or they will cut the edge out and replace it for about $100. Its not worth it for a ski like that.
