So in relation to a normal 4 buckle setup, is their three piece thing or whatever it's called a lot better? I'm gonna go looking around at boots today, and I'm prepared to drop around 500 dollars if necessary.
The buckles on the fulltilts are, well, all over, but they seem like they'd have the same effect as the middle buckle on the dalbellos. Like it would hold you quite nicely. That and the shape of the tongue seem like they would provide a nicer flex than a 4 buckle and a better hold on that part of the foot, which is what I have a problem with right now. I'm still looking for somethin on the stiffer side, but something that actually flexes instead of just moving around.
So, if I find a normal 4 buckle setup and something like dalbellos that both fit, should I get the dalebllos? I've never tried on something like fulltilts yet., and I've never had a decent boot. I'm not going for a park boot, just something that fits, but it seems like "park" boots that have that buckle/tongue setup will be quite nice on the feet. Halp?
And if you missed it, I'm going to at least two shops today. Don't know if they are good bootfitters, but I'm reading around and making sure I can get myself something that fits if they aren't.
