Ive been in and out of orthepedic offices for a month now... just had a torn ACL and meniscus verified by an MRI....
From what Ive read, damage to the meniscus is very common in knees with impaired ACL function (Injured, previously blown out, still healing)
As you may know the meniscus is the lining casing your knee joint absorbing impact and acting as a source for lubrication... I had meniscal damaged after my knee felt healthy, but actually had no ACL whatso ever and thus continued to fuck up my meniscus resulting in a continuous pop, and lesser range of motion... the injury was no where near as severe, but shouldnt be ignored...
My surgeon said a meniscus can only be repaired in persons younger than ~25 within about 2-3 weeks, so dont delay!
My advice... take the season off and get your knee 100%.. 2 previous tears sets u up for another one if youre not 100% rehabed and that could fuck shit up for LIFE..
good luck man
