Need help with a trick

hey i was wondering about down rails, i can do every other thing on flat rails like like switch ups and stuff but when ever i try to hit a decent down rail but just fall and look like an idiot

do yoou guys have any tips for me? thankss

When you fall, make sure you land in the afterbang position. Just kidding.

Don't worry so much about looking dumb, I find when I worry less about looking cool, and focus on actually doing the trick it helps me more. If you aren't falling, you aren't pushing yourself hard enough.

Watch some videos of people doing it, and when you're sitting at the top, envision yourself doing it, from a first and third person point of view.

get it right under your boots and keep a nice wide stance, for your head you want it to be directly over the rail like your feet and turned looking at the end of the rail (the might seem scary not looking directly down or directly in front of you but if your heads over the rail it will guide your body straight to the end so you don't slip off early)

Keep your weight downhill with the rail so your skis don't shoot out from under you, but remember to keep your front edge tilted so you don't catch and fall forward... Most of all, have fun!

try to find a rail thats a little out of the way, and you wont really worry as much about falling. or maybe work on them when the park doesnt have very many people in it
