Stowe Vt?

Hey guys, I'm heading up to Stowe in a month or two with the school and was just curious about the resort.

Is it nice? Any trails to recommend? Is there any decent back country?  Thanks for the replys

stowes pretty chill. cool kids lap the triple and quad. occasional runs on the gondy when theres powder. woods are fun. parks good enough for the average bear.

had a little backcountry adventure yesterday off the back of spruce...wound up on rt. 108, skied to smugglers notch, snuck on a lift, hike around the top back to spruce. it was an adventure.

o and the skiing was damn fun.

Mansfield side is where to be tyro is mad fun and northslope is tight

if it SNOWS and there's a base hike to the top of Mansfield, ski the chin, or hourglass, and be prepared for some top notch tree skiing on the east coast, depending on your direction, if might be a walk and a half back...miles... back to stowe most people will pick you up if you hitch, their park isnt bad but if youre going to stowe please dont go there to ski park
