FUCK why cant any of these fuckers drift north? for whatever reason most of the storms so far have been really southerly and not as warm as you would expect for southerly. whatever. la nina is REALLY supposed to get monstrous after new years up here

THere is a ridiculously informative site that calculates la nina and el nino patterns from year to year for the past 50 some years. Basically it says it doesn't matter either way its a crap shoot the whole season.

See you there. Alpine really did get the 32 inches they claim, and a whole lot more where the wind blew it in. SUPER sketchy avvy-wise though, I saw slabs broken off and crowns where I've never seen them before, and to an extent which I've never seen at AM before. Patrollers were saying it's super stable in some places and super unstable in others, totally depending on how the wind was blowing it in.
