Ski movie desktop background?!?!?! OS X only

like i said... PC guys get out. this is OS X

ok 2 things to download...

1. just download this thing for your screen saver preference, it just lets you have a movie play as ur screensaver

2. then this little app for your dock. it switches ur desktop to ur screensaver... which is a movie cuz of the save hollywood thing u just downloaded or read about...

and one tip, to make it a ski movie background, set the movie for the save hollywood player to be a ski movie.. which you bought legally. right.


k, pm if u have questions but it seems pretty simple.
and im running 10.5.8 if that matters to any of u. i think it works for snow but im not sure...

or you can screenshot vlc and set it as your desktop background and whatever you play in vlc plays on you background. havent tried in a while but i did it all the time back when i ran xp

doesn't work with either the newer versions of vlc or it could be windows 7 o well but im sure theres a way to do it for pc

They took that feature out of 7, but you can reactivate it look at what I posted.

system prefrences>desktop and screen saver>screen saver then go to options

My screensaver is ElectricSheep (google it if you dont know what it is) so I set that as my desktop...I think this is really going to hinder the amount of work I get done.

and this tutorial is for OS X u idiot. thats what im taking about. if you could you do it for both, would i have to write OS X only?

ok so i just tried this, i know nothing about macs, but im running OSX 10.6
when i try and open the hollywood saver thing in the screen saver menu thing i get that i need to download a newer version of the program?

any help would be awesome
