Sort of a /claim thread I guess, but on Christmas morning, I was driving with my family in a 3 car caravan from my grandpa's house to my uncle's and we passed a flipped car in a ditch. At first we were all just like wow check that out, must have been a pretty bad crash, but the my mom yelled that she saw a hand wiggling out the window. We all pulled to the side of the road and ran down in the ditch to find an 85 year old woman and her dog trapped in the car. We called 911 and stayed there with her for about 40 minutes until the fire department came and cut her out with the jaws of life. It was pretty crazy. She had a huge gash on her head and had vomited all over herself, and said she didn't know where she was or what happened. She somehow remembered her daughter's cell phone number and gave it to my aunt, so we called her too. Anyways, the daughter called my aunt back today and said that her mom was stable in the hospital and was going to recover just fine, but said she might have frozen to death if it had been much longer. She had a pretty bad concussion and some gnarly frostbite on her face from being upside down pressed against the ground, but she lived. Yay!

This was after the paramedics and fire department got there and told us we could get back in our cars if we wanted. The black blob in front of the car is my mom down on her hands and knees holding the old lady's hand and talking to her.
