Would it be a terrible idea to take an exacto knife and cut a nice slot for my skullcandy icon 2 headphones so that they can go under the helmet and not really feel like theyre there.

Wear them below your helmet around your neck, kinda. Works great for me and tons of people i know do it too.

I dont wear a toque under the helmet and my Icons have that "soft" bs which is actually a sick joke intended to make them slide off your ears easier because its a silk material.

not unless you dont might having those things permanently implanted into your ears after a hard fall on smack to the side of your helmet. Think about it??
