Was supposed to go and shred today

So I've been looking forward to go up to Vt for a couple of days and go to Okemo, Mt Snow, and possibly Stratton. I was really pumped for some fresh pow. Unfortunately for the past few days I have had a killer sore throat and this morning I woke up with a painful ear infection and a stuffy nose in addition to the sore throat. If this was a normal ski trip I would have brought some medicine and powered through it but I didn't want to take a chance with getting my best friend sick, since this would be his first time on the mountain since he got cancer... Long story short I am sad that I got sick and can't go to Vt

That sucks!!!! Even though I've been driving in the snow for 2 years, my mother has no confidence in me and she thinks I'm gunna die on the way to the mountain. Grrrrr... almost a foot of fresh pow, and I can't go... +Vibes to you and your friend though! Hopefully you can go in a couple days! Feel better!

Dude..that sucks.

I'm sort of in the same boat. Yesterday I was at killington and managed to twist my ankle coming off a rail. It sucks because we just got all this fresh snow and all of my friends will be out shredding pow while I'll be chillin inside doing nothing...

Dude..that sucks.

I'm sort of in the same boat. Two weeks ago I was at Sugarbush and managed to dislocate my kneecap side-stepping up a pile of snow. It sucks because we just got all this fresh snow and all of my friends will be out shredding pow while I'll be chillin inside doing nothing...

Well if it makes you feel better i have to work at my local mountain today where we have gotten a bunch of new rain... instead of going to whistler where they have gotten aprox a BUTTLOAD of snow.

I passed up skiing today too in vermont, even with the fresh snow. Seems like whenever i get out there when it's extremely windy i have a miserable shitty time, plus i'm sore from yesterday. So fuck it, i'll just sit here. plus the park will be primed and groomed out with fresh snow for mid week.

awe man cancer is so hard to get rid of. i once knew a guy who had cancer and he cancered so hard cancer started coming out of his cancer so in the end i learned that if you cancer a little too hard cancer could cancer the shit out of you so its best to

i havent skied in a few days either because i have been sick. but last night my mom got me this Advil Cold & Sinus Plus stuff and it works so well, i am basically all better now :)

what i posted wasn't posted by me, it was posted by my dumbass cousin of 12 who was on my NS account when i was out of the room. the topic of cancer is one that is very sad and one that i do not find funny in the slightest. one of my best friends died of cancer a year ago and my grandma has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. I am so ashamed that my cousin could post such an unfunny and sick thing on a website that promotes and brings together everyone who loves the same sport i do and take so seriously. i deeply apologize for what has been posted here yesterday. i would not wish to be banned because i myself would never post such a disrespectful and sad comment here or anywhere. i have confronted my cousin and tore him a new one about the whole ordeal. i find what was posted sick, twisted, and very much worthy of being banned. but i ask you to forgive my idiotic cousin and to not take this out on me. again Newschoolers and forum poster, i am extremely sorry and i assure you, this sort of thing will never happen again.
