Tempature specific or universal wax?

ive never bothered to use temp specific wax and have no trouble getting speed, although i mostly wax to protect my bases.

I think it depends where you live. I use temp specific but live in Colorado where the climate is really dry... so on super cold days the snow is really sticky and I think the temp specific helps. In the Midwest, even on the coldest days the snow is still wet and heavy.
During Dew Tour at Breck this year it also helped a lot because it was dumping for Slope Qualies and we NEEDED temp specific wax to clear the jumps.
But if you're just shredding around park having a good time wax is wax... if all-temp is cheaper go for it.
