First of all Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, [Insert religious entity celebration that all corporations profit off of here]
So Im going to be new to park, really new, but i pick up stuff fast.. and thanks to today, i now have alot better budget then I did before. I want to focus on rails, lots of butters, and smaller kickers. [I do not live in any area with pow, so it doesnt matter if the ski floats]
So this is basically armada vs armada vs line... ya im scared to venture out to other companies for trick twins.. but i really dont want to.
Note: information on the ski you recommend would be nice, instead of just one word haha.. im trying to learn
Thalls vs AR7s
I was thinking about to Thalls over AR7s since they are more park oriented and only $50 more.
[Thalls vs Ar7s] vs Chronics
This things look dope as shit how do they stack up to the armada's?
Others...
Afterbang - I originally came to decision i wanted these, but with a bigger budget I think the other skis would suit me better.. what do you think?
09/10 Lizzies - I hear good things, but are they too stiff for buttery-ness?
Length question- Im 5' 10' 160lbs, and I know you use longer skis for stability on rails and jumps, just checking with the experts(you guys)

ok first of all, if your super new to park, you cant really say what you want to focus on, and there are plenty of good park skis out there that arent armada or line. also ar7s are VERY park oriented, the only difference between them and the thalls is that the thalls are softer (not by much). also, if you want to butter but still hit kickers, a stiffer rockered park ski like the alpha 1 might be your best bet. I have Line anthems and they're working out great. Lines are very durable, and when flexing the chronic in the store, they felt very medium even flex, pressable, but stable. the armadas are a bit stiffer. also, salomon makes the 2012 which is rockered and has camber, while still being slightly stiffer than the chronics. good all around. there are TONS of choices, so dont make your choice based on a picture on the computer, go to the shop and see what they have to say.

Lizzies are noodles, super soft imo. And i think thall are softer than armada. Btw lizzies only come in 172cm and you are 5'10, might be ok. Cant help much sorry, thats all i know

sorry for the double post, but you said that because you had a bigger budget the afterbangs might not be the best..... afterbangs are bombproof and buttery as hell, and the price doesnt define its quality. the less you spend on the actual skis, the more you have to spend on bindings, etc. as for the lizzies, they're one of the butteriest skis ive ever had the pleasure to flex, you shouldnt be worried about buttering on them, more about the stability
