There are so many threads on asking for GoPro Help. I've had a GoPro for a while and im sick of Media&Arts being so cluttered with this questions.
I'll start off by linking this website, it is EXTREMELY helpful for GoPro questions and should be able to answer at least some stuff for you. I use Final Cut Express, and use this site to make your video usable and easy to deal with by converting it (i did not make this tutorial)
READ THE MANUAL. You'd think this was common sense, but i know how to work my GoPro pretty well just by reading through it once or twice and working with my GoPro as i read.
This is also a common question. "How do i get my camera to upload footage if i plug it in and a red light just appears?" This means it is charging but will not upload any footage. You need the GoPro to be on and plugged it.

I don't know what else to say... mount the gopro somewhere easy to use and press the buttons. you can use the bike mount and attach it to a ski pole but i ghetto mounted mine to half a broom handle with one end flattened and the flat mount attached to that.
