Drinking with parents

I'm 17 and my parents are starting to let me drink alcohol during christmas pârties or just a regular brew(or 3 or 4) during supper. I find it fucking cool, at what age did you start dirnking with your parents in a casual way?&

my mom is still blown away by how quickly i can chug a beer. everytime the family cracks the bottles, she tells me to chug and laughs at how i just take 2 massive gulps and its gone

6 years in college will have that affect

I started drinking with them about four months before I turned twenty one. They were a little surprised, but supportive.

yes! i was at a new years party at a ski with a bunch of adults they were so wasted it was the funniest thing ever! there was an indoor snowball fight

ill have the occasional drink around the house, since 16, and a couple days ago my dad got me fairly drunk by making me two gin and tonics that were about half gin.

a few weekds ago my siblings and i came home drunk... and my dad has offered us brews kinda as a joke ever since... i duno weather to take the bait or not. ill wait... but we r getting a keg at our cotty... maybe then. im 16

i drank champagne on new years with my parents ( i was already having shots before then) but i can honestly say it was a lot of fun being drunk with my paretns

ive been drinking wine with dinner since the age of 5. no joke. now i work in a wine shop, recommending and selling it as my part time job while im at uni. IMO that's the best way to introduce kids to alcohol. make sure its always linked to food and not trying to get shitfaced, so that their first experience is in a safe environment rather than sinking beers in a park with friends at the age of 16.

i never drank with my dad until like 2 weeks ago. i don't make a habit out of it simply because i don't really like drinking around my family, it feels immature and like i'm craving attention.

lol but when i did drink with my dad i saw a completely different side of him hahahaha

my parents won't offer me a drink until im 21...they know I drink but I guess they're just old fashioned...that and my dad is a substance abuse counselor so maybe that has something to do with it

my parents started letting me go to parties where they knew i was going to drink at 14, buying me alcohol at 15...never spirits though, only ever beer or cider..
