Drinking with parents

I'm 17 and my parents are starting to let me drink alcohol during christmas pârties or just a regular brew(or 3 or 4) during supper. I find it fucking cool, at what age did you start dirnking with your parents in a casual way?&

I was 17 too. Funny thing is now my little brother is 17 and today when my dad asked who wanted a beer, my brother raised his hand and my dad just laughed and said when your 21.

From about 7/8 onwards dad always encouraged me to drink, but I hated beer. I started having the occasional small can at about 13/14 and from then it's been fairly common.

First time hammered/completely shit hammered around my mom was in Mexico right after graduating HS, I was waving around a garbage bag full of shitty Mexican weed in our resort after getting back from a bar, she just lol'd at me the next morning when I realized I barfed over the side of my bed like 3 times.  I don't really drink anymore though, got that out of my system senior year HS through sophomore year of college.

i started drinking heavily about the age of 13, but its only in the last few years that my mam has stopped going mental if i came home drunk.

i got a six pack of brews from my dad for my 18th birthday because thats what he got on his 18th birthday.. ever since then its been pretty chill to drink around the house and when bros are over too.. and they know i drink outside the house too and they say as long as i dont drive they dont care. my parents are pretty chill

My parents never really cared as long as I was smart about it. I'm almost 19 now, rule to thumb is if I go out and had a few sleep at the house or ask for a ride. 16 started getting into really, now neither one of them drink anymore so I have the whole liquor closet to myself...

I'm 19, they've been buying me good brew to drink with them since 18. However, as soon as we get together as an extended family, they don't care. My dad, uncle, and I spent about $300 on beer, wine, and rum a couple days ago, and it's almost all gone. Blue Moon ftw!

I'm 15, and while I was in Germany when I was 13 my dad let me drink. Now during holidays and such he'll let me take a few shots, or have a couple brews. Honestly, its not that big of a deal, its just strategic, since I don't think I'm the shit coz I drink once in a while, I won't go off in college getting shitfaced every night.

one time me and my friends came back to my house drunk, and we decided to go outside a grill in the backyard.  we are grilling, having a good time, then my dad and uncle come out and they are both drunk aswell, then the 5 of us where grilling and telling jokes around the grill, it was a great time

Played 5 rounds of beer pong yesterday with my parents, uncles, aunties, cousins and my grandparents.

Often I'll be drinking with some mates at home and my Dad'll come home more pissed than I am haha.

dad letting me drink a beer around 13, wine at dinner usually around 15 and they let me drink hard alch whenever, now and they acknowledge that i drink outside the house and theyre totally cool with it
