First bc skis

Hey newschoolers! me and some friends are going to spend 3months in whistler from the middle of january and from what i´ve heard i have to buy some bc skis. I have no idea on how wide, long or what they should be like. please help me out.

im 190cm, riding powder for the first time, what should i be looking for? thank you!

just got a pair of czars and I really like them, definitely a solid all mtn ski that you can still ride when your aren't in waist deep pow.

depends on if you'll be touring or not. doesn't really sound like it.

I tour on the 191 ON3P Caylors and love them. Some might think that's too big of a ski to tour on but look at the 186 Billy Goat or the Czars as well. I can't really vouch for anything else since I haven't ridden them but you can't go wrong with the Caylors

bents are great for touring if you throw some skins and markers touring binders (barons or dukes) on em.

i have a number of friends with this setup and they all swear by it.

caylors are dope too.
