So... my budget for the WHOLE winter is exactly $440.31. The thing is, I need to buy skis, as well as lift tickets. Buying the skis alone... i might be able to get 2x used under 400, but that means i can go skiing approximately once :(.

Get a job? Or get a job at the mountain so you get a free season pass?

shop b/s/t for some older skis for cheap that will get you through the season, spend the rest on night passes and use liftopia a lot.

do you need new skis? definitely don't get new ones unless you absolutely have to (your old ones are broken or so bad that they make you not enjoy skiing). boots are way more important anyway.
save your money for a pass or tickets. a pass would obviously be more cost-effective in most cases

look for deal on last years skis, bindings, and boots
