Pisssssed at my new gopro

So i just was playin with it, take some pics, vids, the usual.. and i plug it into my HDTV..attempting to watch it on there, didn't work. So i unplugged cables from the gopro and then the "tel" mode is stuck and won't go off. I've done everything i can think of to try to fix it. Nothing worked. I googled it, and it seems to happen to a few people.
If anybody has had this problem and can suggest something, PLEASE let me know.

? Honestly. Take the battery out/put it back in. Get the firmware update.

as soon as i took it out of the box, i did that, then it started doing this, then i tried everything, including taking the battery out.

Does anyone know if the GoPro HD Helmet Hero that I got today, and was bought on the 22 of Dec. came with the NEWEST firmware?

yes it comes with the new firmware. so nothing happens when you hit either button or what?

Naw it just totally froze up on the tel mode when i turned it on. nbd. i just took it to g-woods and they just gave me a brand new one.
