so i liked the idea of mine being centered on the flat part, "stage 2" of the rocker, while in reality they aren't centermounted cause they're more tip rocker than tail. but the farthest forward line ("boot center") was still probably an inch back from that point.
anyway, i took mine in and explicitly asked for them mounted at boot center, complete with a permanent marker line on the ski and sticky note saying "please mount at boot center line". sure enough, they mounted them a CM back from boot center. it's only a centimeter so not really a big deal, but im still kinda pissed.
anyway, where does everyone mount theirs? i was thinking about asking for a free remount a CM ahead of the "boot center" line, so they're closer to centermounted on the cambered part. or just at the boot center line, but idk.
mine will be used for new england trees (jay peak and such) and one trip out west a year. i was also thinking on detuning the edges and using them to screw around in the park. should i just get over it and leave them where they are?
where are yours mounted and what do you use them for?

You should be fine. I have mine mounted -2cm. Absolutly perfect. I use mine for everyday skiing, powder to big mountain to all mountain jibbing.

-2cm rides like a fucking boss. Still good for rails and pow.

i tried to get mine mounted on the forward line but it wouldn't work with the previous holes, so they mounted back a cm or 2. They definitely ski great even though they aren't centered

hm. now when everyone is saying -2 cm, do you mean -2 from dead center or -2 from the "boot center" line (which is probably an inch and a half back from true center...still the farthest forward line though)?

I have my LL2's mounted on the here line which is -1.5cm back from true center and is center of the flat. I absolutely love them for everything there. It's currently my only ski and i use it from everything to pow to ripping GS turns on groomers to playing in the park. It is possibly the most fun ski I have ever rode that can do everything.

It's definitely not worth remounting. But I would ask for a refund for the incorrect mounting

got to ski mine in like 10 inches of fresh east coast pow and it was awesome! i've also hit some rails with them and their fun for that. i still wish they were centermounted for when i ski groomers and park with them, but its worth the back mount for how sick they are in pow.
thanks errebody for the help! buy surface!
