super legit. i work for a photographer, David Bravo. he just scored a job with a magazine. just bought a quad core mac tower with liek 16 GB of RAM. 4 processors or something absolutely nuts. a new hasselblad and like all this shit.

Dude... seriously? WTF?!?! Most of the comments you post on here I think are a little over the top but I at least agree with the message you are trying to get across. But what the hell is this? Did he post his images for critiques? No. Is this thread about his images at all? No. Did you seek out his images and then rag on him for absolutely no reason? Yes. Additionally, why the hell does it matter if his images are any good? Would you sell your images if somebody wanted to buy them, even if they weren't great? I would guess that you would. And even if you wouldn't, I know I would. You are literally ragging on him for being able to sell images that you think aren't any good. WHO THE FUCK CARES? I get that being an asshole on the internet is kind of fun and to be somewhat expected, but dont be a dick unless it is at least somewhat called for.

As for photography gear for Christmas, unfortunately I didn't get anything. It would have been nice to get another flash because my SB600 broke a few days ago, but I shall look for a cheaper or more durable replacement (maybe 2 - that would be cool but expensive)

The tamron is so much better than i was expecting. such a sick lens. if anybody is thinking about getting it, definitely do.

Sounds like other people had a good christmas too. just be thankful for everything you guys got.

Also, I got a chesty mount for my go pro. Does anybody else have one? Do you like the shots it produces?

Not really. I have used it for three days on the hill and I'm confidently gliding all over the place. I'm still missing that smoothness of the best users like Duncan Lake though. I think I need a lot of practice.

And yeah Nick there has been a ton of threads about it, but they keep getting deleted and not handled in a professional way. Rumors and gossip wouldn't be happening if NS would allow a thread explaining it to exist.

Then I checked out his website to see whether there was any merit... and Bryant I think you should learn about art theory and lighting theory. You have the technical ability to make photos, but they are generally lacking in the art department. I cringed on your behalf at what my photo teacher would say in response to all but a few of them.

I got a GoPro HD too, used it twice, didnt wait for adhesive mount to cure so it ripped of :]

but here is a quick edit of todays footage of some follow cams on a pole mount.

some pretty good filming conditions, shot in 720p at 60fps

Cool.

Try to get closer on the jump follow cams, and maybe instead of airing the jump ski alongside it for more stable footage.

Also, when you export it, make sure that "frame blending" is turned off. It'll make your video cleaner looking, and when you pause, it won't have the ghost image.
