really? no, just no. however, the two things that do always go hand in hand are the kids who say 'you guys get way too much for christmas, you're all spoiled' and jealous pricks.
if parents want to get their kids a lot of stuff for christmas, that's their own problem. i don't force presents out of my parents. there have been times when my parents have paid for something that, in my opinion, they didn't need to. so i saved my money until i had enough to pay them back.
also, when i got written up at school a little while back, i told my mom to take certain things off of my christmas list because i felt that i didn't deserve them. she agreed, and i said that those things weren't super important and i could easily get them at some other point. i can honestly say that i was not expecting to get those things, but nevertheless a couple of those found their way under the tree. is that me being spoiled? pretty sure it's not. it's just my parents trying to support my filmmaking, and for that i am unbelievably grateful.
so honestly, shut the fuck up. there will always be somebody who has a better life than we do. somebody who gets more stuff, gets more girls, or just gets to do more fun shit in general. it sucks, but we have to get used to it.
and PEACE_media, good on you for realizing that a lot of it is jealousy. i just want to make sure everybody realizes that not every kid who gets a lot is spoiled. having gone to a small private school, i can tell you that a lot of those types of kids are a lot more humble and down to earth than you would expect.
