neither sport is better than the other ther two sides of the same coin i just hate the bitchy whiney snowboarders that think skiing is gay. but ther are plenty of skiers out there that think the same about snowboarders so it really doesn't matter. and from what iv heard snowboarding is harder

i have huge respect for snowboarders, and find it very difficult. i also ride with boarders a lot of the time and i find that hate againts snowboarding is a bad thing, because without them, where would skiing be? in theyre own way, they helped pioneer freeskiing

I snowboard, but I have skied as well. Seems to me that skiing is easier to learn the fundamentals, but harder to start trying tricks and such. Got tons of respect for both sports however, ride with a lot of skiers, everyones riding down a mountain, just standing in different directions, why the hate?

Whenever I jump on a snowboard, I have the tendency to turn forward as if I'm on skis, so I catch the front edge and eat shit. Eating shit is something raging homosexuals do. (see figure A).

skiing is definately easier to learn and easier to spin but its so much tougher to coordinate tricks. i'm a snowboarder and I just love it because it feels so much more flow but I respect skiiers a ton.

Its probably too late, got good at snowboading and doesnt want to start skiing.. In most cases thats the reason why not to switch to skiing.

i do both, sooo tired of the argument between what is harder. i boarded for 3 years then switched to skiing, and caught on completely in a season. now im back to snowboarding cuz i personally enjoy it more.

That is actually the biggest lie... Most skiers I know agree. I picked up skiing and got decent within like 20 times of going, but then again it's all about perception. Some things come easier to different people. Just my two cents.

I do both. I skied when I was about maybe 8 until 12. Then stopped all winter activity because I started taking basketball really serious and had no time. Then at 16 I started snowboarding for the first time. I've snowboarded the past 3 years. Now, at age 20, I am skiing and snowboarding. I am much better at snowboarding, but I still ski when I go to the mountains, like last weekend I practiced sliding boxes on skis. Both sports are very different and I don't think one is better than the other. I will say, I hope to get much better at skiing because honestly, when I'm 50, I can't see myself snowboarding, but I can skiing.
