Sorry to sound a bit like a dirty hippy but its true.

We're all humans, and we all can get along when we want.

So whatever holiday/days you celebrate, be it Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or Christmahanukwanzikah, have a wonderful winter season.

i actually hate the world and want to blow it up when i'm 18 because i no longer belong to my parents and they will get in no legal trouble. i haven't ordered the "stuff" yet but just wait.

well i would disagree, some are better than others for sure... for example thanksgiving is the tits all the good food... haloween was fuckin sick when you were kids.. 4/20 is epic to those who participate.. so in general id say non-religious holidays>religious ones no matter what faith. but others may disagree

Christmas is simply a name given to the old winter solstice celebrations of the pagans in an attempt to convert people in the early days of the catholic church. 70% of christmas tradition is pagan rituals being lights, trees, wreaths, ornaments, etc. Stockings come from Saint nicholas's wife who filled children in their towns socks with fruit i think. well its all here http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/family/christmas1.htm

Just reply all'd that to one of my teachers after he emailed my friends and I to remember Jesus' birth, etc.
He knows almost nothing of the history of the holiday and is a fundamental christian.

All holidays are exactly equal, no more joyous than any other. St. Patrick's Day is exactly the same as Thanksgiving. Farmers are exactly the same as senators. Factory workers are exactly the same as surgeons. We should all be content in what we have/are.
