ok so me and my friends have a 12 foot box built and we bought the HDPE top sheets needed. Were thinking of counter-syncing screws and then screwing the 90 degree metal edge on the sides. Is that the way to do it or what do you suggest?

how thick is the hdpe? it should work if the hdpe is 1/4" thick or more to counter sink it , and just make sure the 90 degree metal edge (angle iron as i call it) is cleaned from all the rust etc, with a wire brush or wire wheel, and maybe paint it with a primer, the edges might stick on the first few hits but it will work in nice.

then counter sinking is the way to go of its that think. if you are asking what metal stripper to sue to get the rust off, then just go and get a wire brush. they work wonders

wow you really went over the top, 12 feet of 3/4 inch must have cost a lot if you bought it
