Alcohol + Mono = ?

I have mono, a very mild case i think because i was only down for 3 days and that was 25 days ago. I plan on drinking tonight but what are the risks? I know it over works your liver but won't my liver just recover the next day?

there's no such thing as having a "mild 3 day case of mono". you probably just had a virus that had similar symptoms to mono, so you're good to go to drink tonight.

did it and had no problems. drank up until i got diagnosed and then a week later. not smart but just take it easy and you should be good.

are you stupid? when you have mono your liver enzymes are increased dramatically, to the point where your liver swells. whats the second most affected part of your body after alcohol usage? your liver. dont be a dumbfuck

I had a mild 3 day case of mono haha. felt like shit for exactly 3 days, tested positive for mono during that period. was out after those days. didn't booze for about a month though.

I wouldn't let anyone drink from your cup. assuming you feel back to normal or don't plan on seeing your doctor to make sure your liver enzymes are stable, party on

If you eat a couple vicodins it will help to balance out the alcohol in your system. You don't want to have just alc in your system, that would fuck up your liver

ok so Dr. jarsowekjskljfai up there proved me wrong, but i am pretty confident that vicodin is not good for your liver...especially if you had mono....and are drinking at the same time. that's asking for it

i snowboarded after 3 weeks on mono, didnt die. you should be fine, just dont get the obliterated drunk.

My bro had mono and did nothing about it for the vast majority of his first semester at champlain. He drank almost daily and tripped L on more days out of the month than he didnt. He came home for xmas and my mom made him go to the doctors. What he did was dumb and irresponsible but mental health issues definatly effect your rationalizations. Moral of the story is you ll be A OK
